The Champions return

This weekend consists of some great players playing great golf at non other than the Arnold Palmer Invitational open at the Bay Hill club & lodge in Orlando, Florida.

Arnold Palmer is undoubtably one of the greatest golfers who has walked this earth and has one numerous competitions in the past to back that statement up. Last year at this event we were presented with the second coming of the one and only Tiger Woods. After not winning since 2009, his drought was abruptly brought to an end after a five shot lead guaranteed him victory last year at the Bay Hill Club.

The greens and bunkering were completely reworked during the ensuing summer of  2009 and the 4th and 16th holes were restored as par-fives, making the course par 72 for the 2010 event, as Els picked off his second title in a tight Monday finish over Kevin Na.

There are a number of groups to look out for today:

12:45pm – Brandt Snedeker, Phil Mickelson and Sergio Garcia.

12:56pm – Webb Simpson, Bubba Watson and Bill Haas.

0805am – Tiger Woods, Ernie Els and Justin Rose.

The weekend will show the world how far golf has come and how much it is appreciated by young and old. The tournament supports charities such as the Arnold Palmer hospital for children and Winnie Palmer hospital for women & babies. With the weather looking nice, a great weekend of golf is ahead of us. Enjoy.
